LASO Transportes has recently undertaken a highly complex project, transporting the components required for the construction of 11 wind turbines for the Cerrato Wind Farm in Valladolid, Spain.

The transportation of the wind turbine components to Valladolid involved a total of 110 trips, a process that required meticulous planning and coordination to ensure adherence to deadlines and safety throughout each journey. LASO assigned a team of highly skilled drivers whose experience and preparation were crucial in overcoming the challenges associated with moving such equipment.

In addition to the usual demands associated with transporting these types of components, one of the key challenges was the temporary removal and reinstallation of traffic lights at the connection between the A62 and A60 (Valladolid) to accommodate the passage of large wind turbine blades. This obstacle was successfully managed thanks to the collaborative effort between LASO’s team and local authorities.

“For LASO, every transport represents a commitment to excellence and professionalism. This Cerrato Wind Farm project underscores our ability to provide customized and technically advanced solutions, keeping us at the forefront of the specialized transport sector while contributing meaningfully to the future of renewable energy.”

By ensuring the transportation of these wind turbine components, LASO reaffirms its commitment to supporting the transition to renewable energy by offering transport solutions that enable projects like the Cerrato Wind Farm to succeed. LASO views this project as an opportunity to strengthen its mission of innovation and support for initiatives that benefit communities and promote sustainability.
